I am Andrea, a single mum of two who has been through the wringer and survived to come out the other side a stronger, healthier and better version of myself. My goal now is to help ensure that you can do the same.
My role is to help you to live the life you desire – through counselling, talking therapies, one to one work and more. We will work through your challenges so you can live beyond them and not be held back by them.

Every single day life throws us challenges. Sometimes those challenges are small and we can easily overcome and move past them. At other times those challenges can seem like a huge, imposing and immovable mountain blocking our path. The very thought of trying to climb that mountain holds us back and keeps us paralysed in a state of inaction. How we overcome that is unique to us all, what works for one may not work for another. However, one thing I’ve heard time and time again, and which I then experienced for myself, was how talking about it, whatever ‘it’ may be, can be the start to healing and moving forward.
After experiencing the most challenging time in my own life and having my whole world turned upside down, I had to take control. I needed to be able to pick the pieces of my life back up, to support my children through an incredibly difficult and life altering experience, and I needed to focus my drive and passion into an area that would give me fulfilment, allow me to help others and allow me to build a good life for myself and my children.
After finally managing to scale and leave my own mountain behind I knew that I wanted to be able to support and help others to do exactly the same. So, I took myself back off to university and started the path to becoming a fully qualified counsellor. I now hold a BA Hons in Integrative Counselling along with numerous other certifications including Understanding Domestic Abuse, Working with Bereavement, Understanding Eating Disorders, Mental Wellbeing in Children and Young People, Breakup and Divorce coaching, and many more.
I now specialise in 5 key areas.
The ChildrensSociety.Org estimates that 1 in 6 children aged 5 to 16 will suffer with a mental health condition. An alarming figure that is on the rise, so it is important that we recognise the signs when young people are struggling and we then get them the appropriate support.
I offer practical, one-to-one sessions bespoke to each child or young person where I build a working alliance with the young person. I focus on building trust and respect so that we can work together to explore their problems.
Mental Health UK currently estimate that 1 in 10 people in the UK suffer with anxiety, this can range from mild symptoms through to crippling debilitating life-limiting symptoms.
No matter where you, or your loved one, sits on the scale it is possible to get help and to be able to manage your anxiety in a way that improves your quality of life.
The World Health Organization estimates that 5% of the adult population globally suffer from depression. Women seem to suffer far more deeply and more commonly than men, and although depression can be mild and can change through a person’s life it can also be debilitating and even lead to suicide in its most severe form.
Many who suffer from depression will find that it comes in waves with periods where it is less severe than other times. Recovery from depression is achievable with the right support in place.
There is no one size fits all when it comes to counselling and there can often be times when you know that you need some support and guidance, but you struggle to put your finger on one exact issue that you feel needs to be resolved.
This is where counselling comes into its own. You and I will spend time together on a one-to-one basis so that we can talk and explore your issues and then develop the right tools and coping mechanisms to allow you to live the life you desire.
My own personal hell saw the breakdown of my marriage when I discovered that my now ex-husband was cheating on me. It felt like the world fell out from beneath me. It took years for our divorce to become finalised, I wasted tens of thousands of pounds and too much of my life, not to mention my children’s lives, in the process.
I never want anyone else to suffer the way I did, which is why I offer breakup and divorce coaching. My own personal experience plus my qualifications and experience in counselling put me in a unique position to be able to truly support you.
As an expert in divorce and relationship breakups but also a seasoned performer and TV presenter, I’m delighted to offer myself as a speaker for any event or conference.
My inspirational and educational talks include the story of my enormously difficult divorce and how I managed to survive it, along with my new career and my passion to help others.
My role is to help you to live the life you desire – through counselling, talking therapies, one to one work and more. We will work through your challenges so you can live beyond them and not be held back by them.
